Considering buying a high rise? Perhaps you are reading this site for a high rise in general somewhere in the country, NOT just specific to the Signature at MGM Grand. I know there are a lot of posts on this site, so we’ll bring you back to the basics, just in case you just started reading this!
Both condo prices and condo hotel prices are much lower than they have ever been, so you could be torn about which route to go… Condo or condo hotel? A condo hotel is generally a hotel room that is all your own in a fabulous location with 4 or 5 star amenities. Of course, we know the MGM Grand Signature Suites are second to none. With world class dining, entertainment, smoke free rooms, an AMAZING pool, and QUIET rooms (this part is huge), MGM is superior to all of the other names you hear out there. Not to mention (as we did in a previous blog) that MGM Signature Suites are THE only condo hotels in Vegas with a balcony.
So, all of these questions are swirling in your head. What kind of amenities do I want? What kind of amenities would my renters want? Do I want to rent it out the entire year? Save a week or so for myself each year? Strip View?? No Strip View? So many options!
Ok, some food for thought. Some solid questions for you:
1) Is a condo hotel for you? Really think about it. Is this what you want? Resort style living at its finest is obviously very appealing for many reasons.
2) Is the condo hotel in a good area? YES! Does it get any better than Vegas? A 10 minute walk (if that) and you are in the middle of all the action of the Strip.
3) Will the high rise draw a lot of outside traffic? The beauty of this one is… Not really. That’s what the MGM Grand is for next door! The rooms are some of the quietest in Las Vegas. Ask anyone who’s had the pleasure of staying at a Signature Suite and they’ll tell you the quiet, smoke free environment keeps them coming back.
4) And of course, last but certainly not least… Will my hotel condo appreciate? These condos right now are selling for quarters on the dollar. Visitors are staying in these suites year round. Do a comparison of the other big name condo hotels in the area. Read more in this blog and you will see that the MGM Signature truly cannot be beat in amenities and overall style.
